Helios technology is based on robust concentration of industrial wastewater and reduces waste volumes by up to 90%. By using cellulose blocks that increase the water's surface area, efficient evaporation is enabled, where substances with a boiling point above 100°C are separated and collected in a concentrate. The solution is built as a plug-and-play unit with simple installation and high operational reliability. The system is delivered in container format, adapted for Nordic climate, and can handle up to 2000 cubic meters per year. Helios offers the solution as a service, where we are responsible for operation, maintenance, electricity costs, and handling of the concentrate, so you can focus on your core business.
Waste management for industry
Helios technology is developed for robust and reliable handling of industrial wastewater. Our systems are built in acid-resistant steel and equipped with robust pumps and components adapted for demanding industrial environments. Through an efficient evaporation process, water is separated from contaminants and waste streams are concentrated directly on-site at the customer's location.
The process occurs gently at low temperatures and atmospheric pressure, which enables stable operation with high operational reliability. The systems are fully automated and use inline sensors to continuously monitor the process. With over 180 data points every 30 seconds, operation can be tracked and optimized in real time.

Our evaporation concentrates all non-volatile contaminants to a minimal concentrate, and produces clean water that can be reused or safely discharged. By concentrating contaminants we enable recovery.
