Highly Effective PFAS Treatment of Contaminated Water

After a full year of testing, we can now confirm that Helios' technology is highly effective at treating PFAS-contaminated water, including chains as short as C4.

Our latest results from leachate treatment at NSR show a 99.45% reduction of PFAS11. PFBA — the shortest chain in the PFAS11 group and often the most problematic to treat — shows an average reduction of 98.91% with our technology.

Our R&D team continues to run lab-scale tests while we also operate an industrial-scale facility at Stena Recycling in Halmstad for larger volumes.

Two of our process engineers, Philipp and Paula, have been instrumental in this work, running countless tests with our lab-scale unit at Kemicentrum in Lund.
