Helios and Dafo Fomtec Partner on Pioneering Water Treatment

Helsingborg, September 2025 — Helios Innovations and Dafo Fomtec are proud to announce a pioneering partnership for industrial water treatment.

Helios has installed a treatment facility at Fomtec's factory, making it the first facility in Europe to treat contaminated wash water from a firefighting foam factory at industrial scale.

The results speak for themselves:

• 90% reduction in waste volume
• 135,000 litres of freshwater saved annually
• 16 tonnes of CO₂ emissions reduced
